Distorted side wall

I have the nice spring loaded steps that fold into the doorway
The force of the spring/ gas strut seems to have distorted the wall near the bottom, pushing it out and so the door now has a gap in the bottom 10 vertical inches or so
This is on a 2018 wildcat 29 fifth wheel
Any input would be appreciated
