Electric stabilizer jacks

Good evening.....had an issue with my new rockwood 2607....popped the fuse on the front stabilizer jacks and was told this happened because I held the switch to long for the jacks when they retracted all the way to the frame.....does this sound right?......I carry a box of fuses with me now just in case

Thanks

Yep. I blew 3 or 4 tongue jack fuses and a couple of stab jack fuses learning that lesson. I now let go of the button just before it reaches full up so it'll coast the remaining 1/16th of an inch or so.

That's how it is supposed to work. You can get auto resets that will fit in place of fuses.
