Epro 19fd gawr

Looking to buy a Flagstaff EPRO 19FD. Does anyone know the GAWR (Gross Axle Weight Rating) on this trailer?

According to its specs it has a single 3500# Vehicle certified axle.

I asked the net and here's what I got. The 2019 & 2020 models have identical specs.

It doesn't list tire size but my guess would be ST205/75R14 LRD. They provide more than the RVIA load capacity recommendation for that axle.

Just doing some math and some common sense

Thanks Airdale.
Just doing some math and some common sense.
If GAWR is 3500 lbs and Dry is 2829lbs, and max Payload listed is 1061lbs, then Dry plus max Payload equals 3890lbs. That's 380lbs over the GAWR! My figures do not include a weight distribution which would add more weight to that single axle. Am I right? I don't want to bend an axle.

The tongue weight is deducted from the trailer GVW and added to the tow vehicle.

With a weight distribution system

Airdale,
Tongue weight is 390lbs. So now that gives me 10lbs. to spare. But with a weight distribution system, would 1/2 of the tongue weight be sent to that single axle?

The tongue weight is something only you can manage. I would say with the major cargo storage area being forward of the axle you will be well over 500# of tongue weight when loaded for camping.
