I went with the Dexter EZ Flex. The reason was because I read some reviews that say it raises the trailer about 1 1/2 inches. And at the same time it creates increased leverage on the equalizer pivots. Over time they could stress and start cracking (fatiguing) the metal in that area. There is a video on You Tube of the Equa Flex and you can see the movement of all the attachment points as they drive it on the road.
I found the video . Watch closely and you can see the movement from all increased leverage. You can also see how under hard braking it lifts the one axle and the tire locks up. The design of the equaflex changes the geometry which is allowing the unloading of the one axle.
