Ground Control 3.0 Electric Auto Leveling system

I am considering putting this on our rig. The reviews are very good on Amazon and Etrailer. I read some of you posted about the easy install. Most of the reviews I have read indicate it is bolt on.

I have seen my model with it installed so I assume it fits but I am a bit concerned about jack clearance under the slides. I will try to get a doc from Lippert that has clearance recommendations to confirm it will fit.

Any of you that have installed recently have any recommendations one way or the other?

Ok, I found out the carton is 450lbs and the shipper will only bring it to the back of the truck. Any of you had this scenario? How do you get it up the driveway?

Update: I purchased the 6pt kit from Etrailer($3100). Spoke with Lippert, expect your support experience from the place you purchase from. That said, I chose Etrailer since they are an authorized dealer and provide outstanding support before and after the sale.

The kit came on a pallet and weighed 360lbs. It was “Threshold delivery”. Meaning they brought it up my driveway and put it in the garage. Ship time was a bit over a week.

I had to remove the Lippert spare tire holder (which was damaged from the last blowout anyway) as it was in the area that I needed to locate the jack bracket. I wil replace it with the BAL 28240 single rail system. I learned to use a new tool—angle grinder.

I mounted the rear sensor, fished cables from the rear to the front and now ready to. Mount the jack brackets.

Do you need to run any of the cables inside the underbelly or are they surface mounted with the aftermarket kit install?

Update: I was able to get all 4 rear jacks installed. I used nuts and bolts along the bottom side of the rear jacks (in lieu of the self tapping screws)

On the self tapping bolts, I drilled the 1/4 the 5/16 holes then used a 3/8” tap to get good threads. While it took a bit longer, it was easier to assemble and the screws bit harder.

The front landing gear was pretty straight forward.

Mechanical work nearly done, time for electrical hookup.

PS, I did route all my cables in the underbelly. I used a fish tape which made the work simple.
