Hall Power Short Lippert Comp 3.0 leveling system

We arrived at our camping site and as we started the unhitching process the leveling system gave us a “hall power short” message on the panel. To make the long story short we have had the unit at the dealership for 1 month, they called and said it was fixed, we tested by itself and it and it seemed to be working right, but the instant in which the kingpin made contact with the truck hitch, the error came back again, and the unit is still at the shop. Not sure if it’s a coincidence or what. The dealership keeps changing the information on me, and we don’t know what is going on, and the RV, which is my son’s full time home is unable to be used
