I'm upgrading my equalizer and shackles and I'm having trouble seating the spline onto the rv hanger. I've tried hitting the bolt with a sledge hammer and still cannot get the splines to bite and seat properly. I ended up putting the nuts on at 40ft lb as recommended. Will this be an issue? I almost need a ball joint tool to press it on.
