how do I know if electric travel trailer brake needs replacement ?

How can we feel that the travel trailer electric brake pad needs replacement ?

Noise can not be heard since when driving no one is inside the trailer

Fortunatly they last a long time. ......... The main way to check is pulling the drums to check which should be done anyway.

Good thing considering that the replacement shoes can be expensive, especially if for the Nev-R-Adjust brakes.

Good braking from the trailer is usually a good indication all is well with the brakes. To keep them that way an visual inspection with drums off is a REALLY GOOD idea. I pretty much inspect mine at 10k mile intervals regardless of the calendar.
