Did my first trip with the new Goodyear tires. First thing so noticed was the weight difference of each one. I took my China bombs out of the the bed of my truck. I noticed when they bounced, the side walls were flexing (wtf) where the goodyears were very solid. I couldnt believe the sidewall would flex from an empty tire bouncing.
I went from 235-80-16 to 235-85-16. The increase in size gave me several hundred pounds more payload per tire netting me 600lbs over my GVWR. As I had stated early, they are also speed rating N good for 87 mph.
So with about 13k behind me, I was doing 70-75mph (70mph speed limits) and my wife turned to me and said, the ride is so smooth I can't even tell the trailer is behind us. I was in complete agreement, the trailer goes down the highway so nicely. I also had them balance each tire for less vibration.
Highly recommend this upgrade to everyone!!
