Long-term Trailer Storage on Jack stands

I am contemplating storing my nearly new microlite 25dks on jack stands to prevent tire flat spots and to remove the load from the torsion axles when it will be idle for more than a month or so.

Worth the effort?

If so I plan to place a jack stand on the frame forward and rear of tandem tires on each side of the trailer. Four total stands. I am also considering placing them on the axle directly below the mounting brackets. There are warnings about using the axle as a jack point but it seems the mounting bracket would transfer the weight directly to the frame.

Suggestions?

If it was for years, I'd agree that it would be a good idea, but for a month (or a few) it wouldn't be worth the trouble.

+1

They can sit in dealer inventory for many months with no problems. Flat-spotting of tires is pretty much a thing of the past. Even if they do, a few miles of driving will get them back to normal.
