One brake locks while backing.

I have a 2016 Gray Wolf 24RK. Towed a couple of thousand miles since we bought it new. The last trip noticed as we were leaving the location that there was a strange noise while stopping as we slowed to about 10 mph. Decided to just adjust the output on the controller to 0 until we got closer to home. Set the output back to 2.0 on the controller as we got closer to home and still got the unusual noise as we stopped. When we reach home and were backing the trailer back into its spot, one wheel was locking up but i could pull forward and it unlocked. It did this three times and finely rolled long enough to park it. What is going on?

Possible emergency breakaway cable connection has a problem and locks up. Just a guess.

Could be the release spring has came off the brake shoes in the hub.

You'll have to pull the hub to find out.
