One tire going flat while parked.

Thought I’d take a chance and ask. I’m sitting in an Rv park now with one of my tires going flat. Anyone know what will happen when looses all its air? A shop is coming in am to put on spare. will 3 tires and front landing gear support the Rv? Or will we start to list in middle of night?

Can you find someone with a small air compressor? You could then fill it up every once in a while, if there is a slow enough leak.

You should be fine overnight as long as you are not driving

The last time I had that problem it turned out to be a loose core in the valve stem. I carry the little tool to check the valve stem cores now.

Add to your list of 'things can not live with out'.

1) small air compressor able for, 100 psi

2) tools and jack/ramp to change flat tire.

You will be fine. I don't believe it will unseat the bead. I had a flat for two days while camping before I could get it fix and it wasn't an issue. Afterwards I bought a Viair 300P and a heavy duty tire repair kit that came with the stem removal tool. This kit has come in handy several time. Good Luck!

Don't forget to get a torque wrench to properly set the lug nut torque correctly.

I just had a similar situation and as stated previously, tightening the shrader valve corrected the leak, re-aired the tire and away we went.

Tire plugs! Even if you don't trust them (I do!), they should get you by till you can fix or replace the tire

If you have a tire pressure monitoring system. recheck that the sensor has not become "loose" as this will result in SMALL air leak. Use TWO supplied allen nuts to firmly prevent rotation off of the stem, Don't ask how I know !

One tire going flat while parked.

It was the dam aluminum rim. It had a crack. Then the valve stem on spare was not replaced on my spare rim when they put my Hercules tire on it and we had a second flat!!! NOT OVERLOADED!! This is not my fault and could happen to anyone!!!!!I I check my weight, only dive 55-60 mph, check air pressure, lug nut torque, and tire condition. Thank God for Hercules tires and tire pressure monitors!! The tire was run flat twice and was still ok and we drove home for 4 hours on it. Due to the g rating it held up under duress. Pulled off as soon as alarms went off. Will be getting 20 ton bottle jack and flares. I used to carry all that with my TT. I have a 12 volt air pump. That is as stressed as I every was sitting on hwy with no shoulder trucks going by 80mph 2 feet away.my son said. “You guys enjoy a dangerous sport “.
