Used to do this on 4X4's a lot in past years. Benefit was so-so if replacing good rubber bushings. Noticable if replacing 30 year old rubber bushings that had rotted.
Since you are tearing the springs out for another reason, and want to go to the effort of removing the rubber bushings then go for it.
Pay attention to the instructions and if they call for a special lube when installing, don't ignore. Some of the poly bushings can squeak enough to drive you nuts if it's left off. If the bushings are impregnated with a dry lube they then are quiet(er).
