Quality trailer tire for 14" wheel?

What is considered a quality tire that I can put on my Mini Lite that I can get in a 14" wheel size? I see a lot of Kenda Karrier and Taskmaster tires out there, but are they any good? I've at least heard of Kenda from ATV tires and I have some on my snowmobile trailer that I've never had trouble with but those are only 8" wheel models. I'm not looking for any tire debates but just for some people to throw out brand and models that are considered quality.

Its currently got Westlake Super ST tires on it now. They're about 3 seasons old with maybe 6000 miles on them and they've been good so far.

I hear both good and bad about the Goodyear Marathons, though no personal experience with them. I do know they are the same tire as the Dunlap (I believe it is Dunlap, though my memory is fuzzy). Made in the same plant by the same folks and branded by both companies. You might just drop a note to the folks at Trailer Hitches & Vehicle Accessories (800)298-8924 and see what tires they recommend based on customer returns, comments, etc. You can also see reviews there and a number of other websites. Goodyear also makes a Loadstar line of trailer tires. Be sure to check prices for tires only versus tires and wheels - you can sometimes actually save a few bucks by buying them already mounted on new rims.

As of right now I can't really complain about the Westlakes, they seem to be wearing really good. Maybe I'll run them for another couple years.

Kumho or Hankook RA08; both load range D, 8 ply, 99 mph rated and carry around 300# more than the others.........

If there are 3 years old you pushing your luck; look at the manufactured date on them.

Tires

After checking out the reviews, I have ordered Maxxis. The original tires supplied by Forest River had excessive wear after 4000 miles.

The first couple reviews for the Kumho on TireRack doesn't sound too wonderful. Seems like if you search hard enough you can find negatives about all ST tires, especially in the 14" variety.

The Kumho 857 and the Hankook RA08 are not ST tires, they are true Truck tires, usually referred to as LT tires

In my opinion it doesn't matter who makes the tire you can find bad reviews on all of them. With the 14 inch size I think its a matter of proper inflation and if your close to the load limit.

The load range C tires are good for 7040 lbs and the GVWR of my camper is only 4800 lbs. So I don't think I'm ever near overloading them.
