Hello FR Forum Enthusiasts !!
I have a 2020 rPod 176 with ~1500 miles on the original tires (Castlerock, of course
). One has been slowly leaking so I took it to our local tire store who found that it had been plugged. The plug was very near the inner side wall, so close that the tire store manager said they warn customer about the risks of repairing a puncture at that location on the tire. Course, he's trying to sell replacement tires, right?
I have no way to 'prove' that the puncture occurred prior to delivery, so it's my word against the TT dealer and/or Forest River. But do I have any case for seeking a replacement tire? I don't want to burn any bridges with the dealer....who seem to be good folks.
Thank you!
