I do rotate my tires on my fifth wheel and also have them balanced when first purchased. A lot of tire shops do not balance trailertires unless you ask.
Reason I rotate my tires is that I prefer to back in to a campsite being able to see the trailer and the camp site from the drivers side... Hence the tires scrub more on that side.

i never have rotated my 4 Travel trailer tires. Always hi speed balanced them including the spare though.

I generally do that, but a lot vehicle owners manuals recommend front to back and back to front only.

Michelin's website recommends crossing them.

I have always rotated mine by moving the the backs to the front on the opposite side, then the fronts go straight back.

I think some people may want to consider switching tire guys. There is another thread where the guys tire dealer didn't know that an "E" rated tire didn't actually have 10 plies.

Tire direction
To each his own, but to dismount tires so they always rotate the same way is really way out there. That is the first time I've heard that one, and I've had radials since they came out. At first you did keep them going the same ( front to back ) but that changed 30 years ago. My truck manual says side to side ( its a dually ) and that's what I and probably 99.9% do the same.

They scrub the same on the other side. They all scrub the same and therefore nothing is gained by rotating them. Balancing with tpms, steel valve stems installed is IMO mandatory.

Sure don't on mine when I see the scrub marks on my concrete drive. All 4 tires leave marks on my tires, the inside tires on the turn just mark more.

From what I have been told,,, rotating from side to side is ok now,,,
They did not recommended it when Radial tires first came out !!!

When they first came out 40 some years ago, you had to keep them on one side. Not anymore. I just looked at 6 owners manuals for the cars in my family (mine, wife's, son's, daughter's,) and they all show the X-pattern and none of them even discuss keeping any on the same side. This is for cars, of course. Trailer tires COULD be different, but I'd be surprised.

Tire rotation is needed on vehicles with drive axles in order to prevent uneven wear between the drive axle tires and the non-drive axle tires. On a 5er or TT, I don't think it's necessary because there are no drive axles and unless you only pull your trailer in NASCAR races, they'll scrub equally.
As for whether or not your tires can be mounted to turn both directions, I'd suggest that if a tire is designed to only turn one way, there will be some indication of rotation direction on the sidewall.
