Skid plates

Used our new trailer twice and have bent the two skid plates on the back of frame FLAT. Is there something better that can be put on frame to replace bent skid plates?

We have a 2017 FR Salem TT 252QBX 32 ft from hitch to back. Pulled by Dodge ram 2500 diesel. Equalizer hitch.

only if you want frame damage.... the camper is not designed to hold the weight by the rear of the frame.

The point of those skid plates is to warn you that you are out of ground clearance.

Is the nose of the camper too high or are you driving in areas with lots of slope changes?

The only good fix to this (besides finding better roads) is to change the axle setup so the camper rides higher.

Thanks, I'm going to check into changing axle setup.
