Spare rims don't fit w/ RV brake calipers?

Trying to find a spare wheel for our 2021 Leprechaun 260DS.
I have the OEM part #(8C2Z1015G) and the specs (16x6, 4 hole, 8 lug, 6.5" bolt pattern, etc).
Direct from Ford/ original rims range from $800-$1000+.
I can find various rims online through third parties for significantly cheaper (~$150, Midwest, RoadReady) that match the OEM part # and specs, BUT one sales person told me they cannot guarantee fitment for an RV because brake caliper sizing on some motorhomes is odd (larger, sticks out more) and there have been some issues of an apparent "matching" rim not fitting. Another told me these rims would definitely not fit RV's because of the caliper size issue.

Has anyone had this problem, or know if this would be an issue with Coachmen/ Leprechaun calipers?
Thanks!

I had a somewhat similar problem and my solution might help. I was able to get a cross-section drawing of the replacement wheel from the wheel maker. I scaled it to life size in the computer and printed it (the part from the wheel flange up and around the caliper) and pasted it to some pasteboard. I then cut it out so that I could hold it up against the axle flange in the vicinity of the caliper to see if the inner wheel profile cleared the caliper. In my case the clearance was 1 cm or more so I bought the wheel. It worked.

If my process isn't clear, let me know and I'll add a sketch showing what I did.

Thanks for the input!... man, the forums are great for creative workarounds, and that is quite a good one!
I finally came across a used OEM rim on eBay with a close-up photo of the engraved part #'s, etc on the rim. It matched exactly the rim on my RV. $99+ shipping and then got a tire mounted-- FINALLY have my spare and saved a ton of money.

As a newbie RV owner it sure hasn’t felt that way! But yeah, I’ll take what I can get.
