Talking with a friend and the question came up about bumper mounted spare tires on a TT. His is located off center closer to the frame. Mine is located dead center of the bumper between the frame. Does it make any difference where that spare is located as far as strain on bumper of effect on towing?

For weight transfer, if that's an issue, relocate the spare tire to the bed of your truck. The heavier the truck is in relation to the trailer the better towing experience you'll have.
