Squeaky suspension

Our 2011 trailer already has squeaky suspension(dual axle, leaf springs). On our previous trailer I found that the shackle plates were shiny where they rub against the spring eyes. The only way I know of getting grease in that area is to modify the bolts by drilling a 1/32" hole along the centre of the bolt, cross drill at the centre of the bolt, then add a grease fitting in the bolt head. The grease then flows thru the bolt, fills the bushing from the centre out until some grease gets forced between the shackles and the spring. It was a bit of a job on the old single axle(6 bolts) but worked well. The new dual axle has 14 bolts. I was hoping someone has an easier way of fixing this problem.

Thanks Dunnc,
Checked locally and find they want $3.49 for these bolts. My trailer has only about 1000 km on it so I will likely drill the existing bolts on my lathe and add grease zerk. Someone on the site you mention said there was no ball in their zerks. I found zerks with ball to prevent dirt entering or grease escaping.
