2018 Forest River Forester 2401w. Are the electric stabilizer jacks on one motor or a motor on each leg? The little pop out fuse blows frequently when retracting the jacks. Any diagnostic thoughts?
Thanks to both responses. Very helpful. Where is the screw that you are referring to? A mechanic says the whole assembly needs to be replaced - just based on the information I shared.
I have the sunseeker MBS 2400W - same coach. I you can get the jacks down, look underneath behind the jacks and you will see a long screw. Clean these and apply the dry lube. Cured mine. If not, then you do not need to replace the entire assembly. The motors are available separately.
The screw he is referring to is the worm screw that jack mechanism travels on to lower and raise. On my 2401R the fuse would pop when I used the switch by the door but using the control app, it never popped.
You might also check the condition of your 12 VDC battery... a low battery will send higher current to the motor and pop the fuse... a rested ( not been charged recently within 6 hours) battery should measure 12.6 VDC with a meter... anything lower is not fully charged and would contribute to this condition
