Taskmaster or Goodyear Endurance
I have done some research and have come up with 2 choices to replace my stock TT China bombs.
Taskmaster specializes in taller tires and wheels and Goodyear, well you know. Both have great reviews, and the Endurance are $10.00 less per tire.
Both the have the same specs:
Width 8.5
Diameter Taskmaster 27, Endurance 26.69
Load range D
Ply rating 8
Max load 2,200 @ 65 psi
I have seen a lot about Endurance, has anyone used the Taskmaster tires?

You didn't mention them but I replaced my Castle Rocks with Maxxis 8008s in March of this year..(9000 miles ago)..No issues. They still look like the day I put them on.

My tire size is 215/75 14 I want an 8 ply tire, over 2000 lbs load rating and the Maxxis that size is a 6 ply 1800 lbs load rated.
Thanks

Be sure to step up to Load Range E. Buy that margin of safety.
Oh heck I see you have 14 inch wheels and it may be hard to find an E in a 14, but try.

I agree, if possible, upgrade to Load range E. The additional weight capacity and the resulting margin of safety is well worth the small expense.
We even went to far as to have our 5500 lb axles "sleeved" to create 7000 lb axles without having to change all the springs etc.

Endurance
The Endurance tires are load range E Tires. Had them installed in June to replace oem tires on my 4 year old fifth wheel. I can tell a significant difference in handling. Not as much bouncing either with the stiffer sidewalls.

I had The Endurance tires load range D Tires installed on my Gray Wolf 26RR I have only put about 600 miles on them but I can sure notice the difference in Stability .. lots better than the China Bombs that came on it. I did put 11,000 miles on the China bombs before I chickened out and replaced them.. Good luck and happy camping

Agree you should upgrade to Load Range E tires, IF the wheels are rated for the extra psi and the size fits your unit. I took a quick look at etrailer, and the Taskmaster Provider Load Range D tires are highly rated but only handle 1870 lbs at 50 psi. The Goodyear Endurance has the specs you are seeking in that Load Range. I do not see a Load Range E tire in that size, but they could be available elsewhere. I'm sure you'll end up with something a lot better than the tires that came with the unit.

Goodyear does a pretty good Black Friday sale online every year if you can wait a month!

I like sales, I am not in a big rush. I have 1000 miles on my stock tires but want to replace them. Heard to many horror stories. I am also looking at adding a TMS
Thanks

I bought mine from Discount Tire Direct on e-bay... just select your size, put them on watch on your e-bay account and keep an aye on them. I got a $100 off on 15" set, used my Discount card and got $30 discount and Goodyear rebate of $60.... if a had waited a couple more days they may have been free.
$520-100= $420, $420-90=$330 almost free

Bought mine from the same place, just direct from their web page. They also had a rebate from the website and Goodyear was also running a rebate. I think I paid somewhere around 90- $100 a tire when all was said and done.

Are you a Vet?
If any of you are Vet's you can buy tires through the VA they are tax free and great prices. Also all US made and the VA has a contract with Goodyear. So going to see about getting the china bombs replaced with endurance.

Taskmaster tires are made in China so you are replacing China tires with China tires.
Endurance are USA made.

Didn't realize Taskmasters were made in China. That narrows it down!

I believe I read that there are only 2 tire companies still manufacturing in the U.S., Goodyear and Kelly. I have been known to be "forgetful" so if I'm wrong let me know gently.

I hear so much negativity regarding the China bombs, however 11,000 miles on bombs without a failure is a good service record. I know of and have heard of situations were these American made tires give up the ghost Way Too Soon by catastrophic failure.
Just my two cents

Ok, let's see how this goes as that statement is not entirely accurate, as there are many manufacturers that produce tires in the U.S.
Besides the two you mentioned (btw Kelly is a subsidiary of Goodyear), Cooper, Bridgestone/Firestone, Michelin/BF Goodrich/Uniroyal, Hankook, Continental/General...and others all have US manufacturing plants.
It's possible you may have have confused manufacturing, with the two "US based" tire companies...which of the big ones are Goodyear(which includes Kelly) and Cooper.
Thru the years many US tire companies have merged or been bought by foreign based tire companies, but still have US manufacturing plants here. Bridgestone bought Firestone, Michelin bought BFG and Uniroyal, Continental has General. etc
Here is an older list of tire plants that you can read to get an idea of what is produced in the US. Since this list has been compiled some plants have shut down, while others have been built.
