Tire Changing

Does anyone know if the Trailer aid ramp actually works with the spread axle that is standard on many coachmen and Forest River trailers.... I am planning an extended road trip and want to be prepared and have the option for changing tires other than a jack... If any one has actually had experience with this please post replies...

No experience with spread axles but have found it to be a good idea to carry some lengths of 2x6 to place under my Trailer Aid. Depending on loading sometimes the wheel you want off the ground needs a higher block. They're also helpful for site leveling too.

I bought one of those yellow trailer aid ramps years ago to take with me. If I am home I use a floor jack and jack stands. Out on the road, I can use my level up hydraulics to pick up a wheel for changing...or a bottle jack.
I tried the trailer aid ramp once on my rig and it would not get the adjacent wheel off the ground once I pulled up on it. It might work fine on other campers.
