Unhappy Tire Markings stamped after QA

I've been having troubles finding new rubber to replace existing the TT.

Just received 2 tires today, out of the USA. Both tires have a clear QA inspection stamp. They were backordered over a month.

The tire I received a few weeks ago, Cdn source, does not have the same type of inspectors stamp. There is a red and yellow dot on the tire instead.

I'm suspicious that the tires may be of different quality.

Would anyone here know how to read the situation?

The tires are Carlisle Radial Trail, 175/80R13 LRD

Tire with dots is a DOTAQJU 38/21

Two other tires are DOTAQJU 52/21 QC2322 & QC2323

Thanking you all in advance.

I’m not seeing a closeup of the numbers I’m looking for.

I’m guessing the manufacturer dates are 38th week of 2021 and the other two are manufacturer date 52nd week of 2021.

USUALLY, and I repeat, USUALLY the manufacturer dates are found inside an oval with the four digits. These manufacturer date numbers inside the oval are OFTEN only found on one side of the tire.

I have no idea on the quality rating or coloured dots and their meaning.

All of these tires came from the same plant. There is no difference in them except for the week they were made.

We've talked about the manufacturer color dots before in this thread:

As far as the OP goes, you are fine, there is no difference. Just run the tires and enjoy camping. No worries.

Thank you all for the explanations and information.

I'll go dotty for a bit and then continue on with the good advice of "go camping".

Much appreciated . . .
I was fearing news of a QA fail . . . This is great news!!

Sounds like same tires. Just for the heck of it, weigh them. Once years ago I got a Firestone from independent shop. Just marked as identical as the ones I had. On a coincidence, I picked up the thread bare one and carried it away for the tire guy. Carried the new one over and realized it was a good five pounds lighter. Clearly not the same as my Firestones except the stamped marking. Ask yourself who in the hell wants to forge copies of Firestones anyway???

Good thought . . .

Tire Wgt

1 -- 8.35 kg
2 -- 8.35
3 -- 8.35

About 18.37 lbs . . .

Digital balance/scale here . . . My weight is tared out to anonymize me . . . (nite snacking will be the givaway . . .

I'm quite surprised at the consistency. . .

NOTE - " -- " is spacing for columns . . . I couldn't find a way to insert and keep tab spacing

Yep, that is pretty close to the published weights for these tires (rounded) on their website:

The weight would be 8.64 kg then . . . And that means I'd also be a heavier number on the scale . . .

No. . . I'm happy with the number I'm currently getting thank you . . .
