Tire pressure monitoring systems

Greetings fellow rver's, I have had a couple of blowouts on my ROCKWOOD Trailer and have been thinking about a tire pressure monitoring system. Doesn't anyone have any experience with them, pro or con? Thanks. Vern

TST TPMS system works great, but that's not going to stop your problem. You need to get either Goodyear Marathons or similar tires in the next higher load range, balance them and run at max sidewall pressure.

I got the TST blow through system, They work great will give you air pressure and temp every 2 mins. They have alarms built in in case something happens, mostly it's heat that will cause a blow out if you have good tires If you still have the factory garbage I assume it wouldn't make any difference as OC said. If you have a slow leak and didn't know it the tire would heat up from it a bang blowout.

I've towed 10's of thousands of miles with brands that many here say are junk without any problems whatsoever.

Truck System Technologies is a great system. I'm sure there are others that work well. I highly recommend such a system. Safety and peace of mind.

I realize tpms's don't prevent blowouts but at least I can pull over if something happens quickly
