Tire rolling pressure?

TGIF! Second trip with 2020 E-Pro 19FBS. First time to use TST monitor on this single axle RV. Westlake ST235/75R15 s. Load C max 50 psi cold. 70F when we left home last Saturday. On I45 90F the TPM went up to 58/60 psi, both sides,121F. Is this pressure increase normal? GMC TV might see a 4psi gain. Thinking about Michelean LT next spring

Tire pressures naturally increase when they warm up. Warming will occur just from rolling down the highway. Also from sunlight so it's very common for the side getting more sun to show higher pressure.

Just set tire pressure when cold, before driving. Never let air out of a tire that's warm from driving or the next morning you'll be starting on an underinflated tire.

As a general rule a tire will increase in pressure one pound for each ten degree increase in temp but this varies with different sizes.

The virtual rally that is going on right now has to tire videos. Both discuss pressure and temperature increases while driving.

They cover other topics that RVers need to be knowledgeable about.

By all means, sign up for the rally, and watch these two videos.

FYI, same brand we have, zero issues after 3 or 4 years and 15-18,000 kms.

Important that you noted that pressure and temp the same on both sides... it is when one is way different then the other that you start to worry, but as noted above often the SUNNY side of the trailer will have a higher temp with a slightly higher pressure reading also
