Talking Tire Shop Refused to Repair This

They did not even see the humor in the question. Sigh..... Funny think is that there was still air in the tire.

My wife (the driver) is convinced that the Snoqualmie Pass is what did it in. We hit some non-trivial potholes on the downgrade going from east to west.

Maxxis ST 8008 purchased in the spring of 2017 and sat largely uncovered in the Southern California sun for the last 4.5 years.

We were NOT using out TST at the time because the monitor has gone wonky.

Seattle area roving patrol pulled up a couple of minutes later and quickly got us out of traffic - safely

I think with a little duct tape and bubble gum, it'll be good as new! Glad everyone is safe!

Easy, Pull it off. You have three others. That's why they come with four right? And if you must have four for piece of mine, put it under the spare cover then that way you wont see it.

Not really sure what your problem is if it still has air in it?

At 4.5 years old, I'd guess it's time to replace the others, unless you want them all to match.

We bought a Goodyear spare and will buy another 3 tires before our next trip which will be between 5 & 10,000 miles. Going to have to buy truck tires too as well as batteries. Ouch!

New hairdo

Looks like a bad bowl-cut hairdo from the 1920's.

After my daughter had TPMS reporting low pressure and inflating the same tire a couple of times I found a drywall screw in one of my daughter's car tires.
So I took it to the tire shop and told the young guy behind the counter that the "tire was screwed".

He didn't see the humor...

Glad no one was injured and no major damage.

What batteries are you going to? Tow or trailer?
Lith or deep cycle?
AMp hours needs?

Always a hot topic

The current plan is to replace the pair of 6-volt batteries that we have used and abused for 4½ years. Just going to get the max hours for the size that will fit the case mounts we already have.

The OP brought it up by suggesting he was going to get new batteries as well as tires.

For a change the OP started the thread drift

I just went over Snoqualmie Pass east to west on Monday 10/4 and west to east yesterday 10/8 pulling my trailer!
