Tire size question
We have a Prime Time Crusader 295RST. I cannot get any more adjustment from the hitch and pin box to get the trailer riding level. I think I need about 2 inches at the wheels to get to level. It appears there are 2 options. I understand the Correct Track system will give about 2 inches of lift. The other option is tires. I'm looking at 16" wheels and Firestone LT235/85/16 tires. The diameter of the tires is 31.7". The 16 inch tires that Prime Time uses are ST235/80/16 which are 30.6" diameter. This should give me about the same lift without mucking around with the suspension. Now my question. Is there enough clearance for the Firestones without hitting the underside of the trailer? I'm really leaning this way for the multiple advantages of higher load rated tires and made in the USA. Any opinions?
