Tire twist

On our last trip with our gray wulf 27RR toy hauler we noticed extreme tire twist in the side wall even on smaller turns. The trailer is loaded with 2 Harley's Heritage Softails and our stuff. Is this a tire pressure issue? Is this normal?

2 axle trailers will always side load a tire in a turn. Nature of the beast. As long as pressures and loads are ok, I would not worry about it.

Likely your trailer has radial tires. Radial tires rollout sideways more easily than bias ply tires where the tire plies cross each other. Actually that twist noticed is a good thing as it is not scrubbing miles of rubber off your tires when turning. It is better for the tire sidewall to flex and keep the tread in contact with the ground for traction than for the tread to scrub across the payment.

ST tires are designed to flex.
