tire wear and axle repalcement

This question is about my enclosed trailer rather than my camper. I noticed on the front axle the tires are bald on the inside, the rear axle has normal wear. I understand this may be the result of overloading either by myself or the previous owner. and I will address the over 1000lbs of tongue weight.

I am thinking of just ordering another axle and bolting it in but I am open to repair suggestiions . However before I can order another torflex axle I would like some sort of tutorial on all the varius measurement you need. I know these axles are used on campers all the time and it seems like there are dozens on places to order them I just don't want to spend $600 on something that ends up not fitting.

I had the same issue. The plastic shackle bushings were worn out and I needed new brakes. It ended up cheaper to order the whole sub-assembly with wet bolts springs etc. Just a thought.

Not subscribed so PM for info
