Tires do not match

Bought my TT in May. We have taken 3 short trips, the longest was about 300 miles round trip. Getting ready to take another. I was checking the air pressure they were pretty close to the 65 PSI cold pressure except for one, it was a little over forty PSI. When I looked at the rated pressure it read 50 PSI Cold????. They are all the same size tires but the rating is different. 3 are rated 8PR D 105 L and the one that is different is a 6 PR C 100L. This does not seem safe.

Dealership probably swapped it out with another trailer to save a sale.

First check your spare and see if it matches the other three.
Then I'd be headed back to that dealer and have them replace the odd tire with one that matches the other three.

Not sure which RV you have as it's not in the post or your profile, but that one tire is likely overloaded.

Sounds as if you have three load range D tires and one load range C tire.

I would also recommend checking your tire pressure a little more frequently. We cheat and use a tpms, but before that we checked them every time we hooked up.

I would also check the date of manufacture out of curiosity.

Spoke with the dealer. They were not sure how that happened. He said they will make good on replacing with the correct tire. The spare tire is the same as the other tires just on a white rim instead of the shinny aluminum. I am changing them out before my upcoming trip and will now check the pressure before I roll every time. Not sure why my signature and avatar is not showing. 2018 Rockwood Mini Lite 2104s

On your 2104, luckily that C rated tire wasn't overloaded, but it still needs to match the rest of the tires.

I'm glad the dealer is taking care of it.

Just got a reply from the Service department at the dealer. He said he has seen this before and is submitting it to Rockwood. We will see.

UPDATE. The dealer did make good on their promise. It just took Forest River forever to get the replacement to them but they did. I took my old tire and rim to the dealer and they gave me a new tire and rim. Even got a spare cap for the wheel now.

Good news. I'm glad they stepped up and did what they should have.
