Trailer lugnuts

I got some new lug nuts to replace the cheap ones that came on my trailer. The manufacture lug nut were marked as 1/2-20, which I understand is and normal lug nut for most trailers. When I got the new lug nuts they were marked as 1/2-20/T. Can someone enlighten me as to what the T means and if these lug nuts will work on my trailer? Thanks.

Steel wheels typically use a 60° tapered lug nut. Alloy wheels use a special clamping lug nut, and it can vary according to manufacturer. They're designed to fasten the wheel at a lower torque to preclude cracking the wheel mounting flange.

Thanks for the replies, everything I've found and been told so far indicates that the lug nuts I purchased will work on my trailer so I'll go with them and torque to the specs on the side of the trailer. Thanks again. Happy camping.
