TST 507 color tire pressure monitoring system

I have the TST 507 color monitoring system on my 2020 Dynamax Isata RV. There was a recall which replaced the tire valve monitors with rim monitors. When my system is programmed and rotates through each tire, it does this for a while and then the blinking tires disappear. Is this normal? It doesn’t seem right? Any advice is appreciated.

When you first turn the monitor on, each tire position blinks until the sensor starts communicating with the main unit. If the sensor is not present, after a while, it will disappear from the rotation.

This keeps the system from permanently looking for your TT tires when you are driving your TV with no TT.

If the sensor is dropping from the rotation, I would first check the batteries. A dead sensor battery would make it seem to the system that the sensor (and the tire) are simply not there.

Next, I don’t know of a recall that required me to replace the valve sensors with rim sensors. That would cause me to drop TST for another brand.

Thank you for the information. That tells me the unit isn’t reading the bands they installed. Our RV dealer has been less than knowledgeable about the products they sell. I‘ll give them a call and go from there. Thanks, again!

I had this happen to mine with the valve cap sensors and called TST.

They explained that the unit has sort of a "Sleep Mode" and in order to wake it up you just push buttons on each side of the monitor simultaneously. Can't remember if it's top pair or bottom pair but when I did as they said, bingo, readings came up.

The gal said it's in the instruction manual, down in the setup section but somewhat "buried". I don't have my manual handy but as she said, "It's in there".

This happens once in a while to me and it seems like it occurs when the unit has been on for a while without any activity, like while sitting overnight or a couple days.

If you check the manual and find this instruction I'd highlight it in case you need to reference it again and don't want to read a lot in order to find it. When I find my manual I plan to do it to mine.

Thank you! That appears to be what it’s doing. However, it does this while I’m driving long distances, which may not matter based on sleep mode? I’ll look at manual and see what I can find. Thanks, again.

Do you keep your's plugged in on the long drives or do you merely charge every few days and run off it's internal battery?

Only guessing but it may be affected by battery state of charge.
