I've always had to use the Enkei style metal stems even on my old Montana brand as the pocket recess around the actual valve stem hole is too small for even a thin wall deep well socket. I've run these Enkei style stems for years without issue.

Mine did the same thing on my car hauler for 5-6 years and never had a problem.. hey, they’re rubber...they’re gonna flex. If you’re worried, change over to steel valve stems.

you need steel valve stems, your rubber stem will break off sooner or later

I recall reading somewhere (Think it was the TST website) that you should use metal stems due to the rubber bending / flexing. My MH has steel stems all the way around, but I can see where a rubber stem could move via centrifugal force and cause the marking.

I had rubber valve stems for a couple of years before I switched to metal stems. During that time I got some some fuel line and cut boots to go on the outside of the valve stems that eliminated the ability of the valve stem to flex. Worked great with the 507 sensors.

I went with TST 507 flow through on my Cherokee. Local Goodyear dealer charged 50 bucks total for m.j etal stems and a wheel balance.
