Under side water proofing

During my trip to Ocean lakes the house wrap looking stuff tore loose from the underside of my camper.
I have put it back up the best I could and it looks like I will be traveling back home in the rain, one will I have much damage to the sub floor and wooden floor supports.

Two once it dries out can I put spray foam insulation, new house wrap and some other type of water proof material back in place.

What area of the rig are you talking about that tore loose? I know you said underside does your rig not have coporlast installed on the underbelly. House wrap like material is usually found in the wheel wells and under the slide box. Unless you are in sever rain conditions I doubt that water would reach your flooring.

If wood gets wet and properly dried (heat and air movement so it doesn’t mold) you shouldn’t have a rot problem. Wood rots with moisture when it’s left to stay wet for long periods of time. Removing and getting rid of fibreglass insulation is important.

I’m not so sure if I would use spray foam in some areas in the underbelly as I want to have access to plumbing and electrical if needing to deal with it. A friend had a situation similar to yours, when he put back the insulation he tucked it into plastic bags and sealed them to keep it dry down the road.

There is no insulation on mine just the house wrap.

I would highly recommend FlexSeal. It is a clear flexible spray-on sealant. I’ve even used it to seal around the chimney on the roof of my house. Lots of good reviews. It’s available at Lowes and Walmart.

This must be a new camper. The manufacturers ran out of batt insulation and started using the vapor barrier insulation.

If it were me, I would put up fiberglass batt insulation, cover that with the "housewrap" material and then cover this with cloroplast plastic sheeting using lots of sheet metal screws and fender washers. Seal as appropriate to finish the project.

The Flex Seal might not be a bad idea on the underbelly before you begin insulation. Just don't cover wires, pipes, etc. as previously mentioned in reference to spray foam.
