Underside insulation repair/replace

2010 Wildcat 5er, new to us. Evidently the previous owner had a blow-out which shredded the insulation in the wheel well. I didn't think much about it until we traveled in the rain and noted that the remaining insulation got soaked from wheel splash. I'm sure it can't be good for the water-soaked insulation to sitting against the subflooring - dry rot and all that. Has anyone had success at replacing damaged insulation and getting it sealed/water-proofed?

Thanks for any input.

KJ

I guess you could use some spray on foam insulation and then spray that with some undercoating.

Is there a wheel well liner on the other side?

As I recall (it's at the storage yard now) the fiberglass insulation has some sort of membrane covering the insulation. It's intact on the other side, under the slide-out.

I like your idea of the spray-on foam. If I can't find the product intended for the original use I'll give the foam a try.

Thanks,

KJ
