Upgrading wheels

I am wanting to upgrade the wheels on our 31KQBSS travel trailer from the current stock wheels. Bolt pattern appears to be 5 on 4.75 and I know that some GM products have the same size wheels. My question has anyone done this? I have tried trailer salvage yards but have not had any luck finding any used aluminum style wheels for trailers. Thank you.

Auto wheels could well have different offsets than what you will need for your trailer. If you take one of your existing wheels to a Tire Store that specializes in custom wheels they can measure offset (they'll probably call it "back space/backspacing") and show you what's available.

Just be sure to take your checkbook and make sure you have PLENTY of money in the account

Note: Just so you are aware, when male dogs are making their rounds, sniffing and marking tires and wheels, for some reason they tend to prefer the expensive wheels more. Male cats too.

Check Walmart. I put these on our trailer. I got 4 Wheels and tires for just over $600 mounted and balanced.

I agree that you will likely find the offset to be incorrect on most automotive wheels. The deals on new trailer wheels are pretty good and you usually can find free shipping. If you are interested in a wheel and tire combo be wary of which tires come with the combo and research if you think they are good or not. W e wound up buying our wheels online but getting our tires (and having them installed on the wheels) at a local tire shop that we trust.

Here is a place that sells a bunch of trailer wheels. Bought a galvanized wheel for a spare plus there steel valve stems.
