Auto wheels could well have different offsets than what you will need for your trailer. If you take one of your existing wheels to a Tire Store that specializes in custom wheels they can measure offset (they'll probably call it "back space/backspacing") and show you what's available.
Just be sure to take your checkbook and make sure you have PLENTY of money in the account
Note: Just so you are aware, when male dogs are making their rounds, sniffing and marking tires and wheels, for some reason they tend to prefer the expensive wheels more. Male cats too.
