Using flexible extensions

I have a 3170ds sunseeker E450 duals on rear. I have short rubber valves. The outer tire has the valve facing in and is hard to get to in order to check pressure or add air. What are your thoughts of using 7-10 inch flexible extension and loop it so that it connect to aluminum hubcap and faces out. Am I asking for failure?

I have installed extenders but only on metal valve stems. Not sure if that would work with the rubber JMHO
