Using spare tire mount

I had a flat tire on my TT. I had to use the spare tire. The original tire uses an aluminum rim. The spare tire is a standard type steel rim. The aluminum rim will not fit on the spare tire mount on rear of TT. I carried the original flat tire in the rear of truck until I could get the original tire fixed. Any one else run into this problem?

yep, same thing, I don't remember the specifics but I remember putting it in the TT because it didn't want to go on the bumper Spare mount.

Does the FR3 have a spare tire? If not, should I buy one?

The FR3 does not have a spare. How you use your coach will dictate if you need a spare. We made a spare because we traveled to Alaska this past year and was not sure of roadside assistance in the middle of nowhere. So, if you boondock or travel to remote locations, it might be advisable. Otherwise roadside assistance will probably be enough. We built our spare from RV Salvage yard for about $250 and carry in our toad pickup bed.
