Wheel bearing maintenance

Hello everyone. This is our second year with our Freedom Express 246RKS and I was wondering how often do I need to get the wheel bearings packed? I get some people that say they never do and some that do it yearly. We put gust about 2000 miles on it last year. Thanks

Mine are repacked every year. Check your owners manual for suggested maintenance.

Every spring before my first trip of the season, one of my chores is to disassemble the hub, clean and repack the bearings. This also gives me the opportunity to inspect everything, including the brakes.

X2. This is the answer. An annual inspection of all suspension, wheels, tires, bearings, and brakes is a must and may help keep you off the side of the road with a problem.
Repacking wheel bearings may not be necessary every year, but it sure does not hurt anything either. I would rather be safe than sorry.

I repack mine every 2 years which equates to about 10k miles. When doing so, hubs are removed, all grease cleaned out, bearings inspected, repacked and new seals. Never an issue. Our rig, however, doesn't sit out in the elements....she's in our barn on concrete and the levelers out while stored (which helps to take some of the weight off the wheels).

I will be getting it done before our first trip this spring. I got the answers I thought I would get. The appointment was already scheduled for April 1st but I thought I would ask anyway. Thanks again for you help.
