Windjammer 2609. 2014. Wheel rim

I had my spare tire stolen and it is really tough trying to get a replacement.
I was told by Discount Tire that there is a number stamped on the rim. I found it on one of the rims but it is really not clear enough most of the info is there but some has worn off. Can someone assist maybe you have a clearly readable number on the inside of the rim. THANK YOU in advance. That would be on a Rockwood Windjammer 2609. the rim size I know is 16 inch diameter but I am told the numbers tell the position of the mount holes.

Are your wheels 6 or 8 lug?

I have never seen a 16" trailer wheel with 5 lugs. Only 6 & 8.

Haven't seen a pic so this is perplexing. The 2014 Windjammer 2609 factory specs show that this rig was built with 15" tires and wheels (aluminum). A quick check of Dexstar & Lionshead revealed no listings of a 16" trailer wheel with a 5 lug pattern. Are these wheels you have possibly borrowed from an automobile application?

Yes tire size is 15. But rim measures 16 I am having my son double check. I really need to hear from someone with a Windjammer they would have the same wheels. Also specs say 15” tires doesn’t say anything about the rim.

2016 3029W Built in 2015

While it’s not the same model or year Windjammer as yours, here’s the sticker from mine:

Do you have a sticker on the driver’s side of yours?

Thanks. Yes tire size the same. I have the same specs. Notice doesn’t tell you about the rim. The rim is the key. Discount tire says there are different measurement on the holes which the serial number provides. I’m just hoping I have enough visible numbers for them to locate one.

Then you have 15” rims. Maybe this is where the confusion in finding the correct wheel is.

Okay, with a ST225/75R15 tire your wheel will be 15 x 6JJ. There are several different lug patterns for 5 lug wheels in this size wheel. Go here and drop to down to Bolt Patterns for Wheels with Odd Bolt Holes, and measure one of your wheels using option 3.

Bob your picture shows up in your profile page.

If it were my problem I would pull the trailer to the sales location and let them compare a wheel that will work as a spare. Most spares are not a match to the ones on the trailer but a basic steel wheel.

Use a cable lock to secure your spare in the future. It is a deterrent from a casual thief. I use a cable and a combination lock so I don't have to add a key to all the ones I already have.

I have a 2015 WJ and will check my spare tire rim for a number later today or tomorrow -- it might get dark in Ohio before I can get out there to look. Is this number just on the rim? I am not sure I can get the tire off the spare holder and I know I can't get the tire off the rim if the stamp is inside.

Looks to be a Lionshead "LYNX" wheel. Most likely 15 x 6, 5 on 4.5.

Spare different from actual trailer tire?

My spare is the same as my trailer. Replaced China bombs with GY endurance. Much better pulling experience.
