Wolf pup 16bhs axle

Hi All,
I took my new wolf pup to be inspected in my home state this week. I revived a call from the mechanic that the axle is 3/4" different from the rear bumper to the center line of each wheel. Then I was told it has / would eat my tires. I was thinking since a trailer can pivot would the axle have to be exactly perpendicular to the centerline of the camper? Would the wind push the camper straight and hurt the tires? Any opinions?

Thank You,

I can't see how a rear bumper measurement would have any affect on your towing geometry. Sounds like you might need a new mechanic. Watch your tire wear as you travel and don't try to fix a problem that doesn't exist.
