Yearly inspections

Getting ready to hit the road so it was time for the yearly inspection of the TT running gear and I found a couple issues.
First issue, lug nut refused to come off so I hammered a slightly under size socket onto the lug nut, it come of but cost me a socket, split it. It's a Snap-on socket so I'll see if I get it replaced.
Second issue found small cut on one of my GY Endurance tires. Let my tire monger inspect it, told me it's not an issue as its no deeper than the factory tread slits.
Third issue, brake that was dragging. Adjusted the brake, backed it off turn or so, working fine now.
Do those yearly inspections, don't want to learn the hard way you have a problem.

Always replace those acorn style lug nuts with solid ( not covered with shiny metal) lug nuts. Gorilla is a good brand and can be found in most auto repair parts stores.

Good luck on your future travels

I got a replacement lug from a local auto parts store and it's solid lug but it takes 13/16 vrs 3/4 socket so replacing the other 19 is on the to do list.
