5th wheel skid wheels: pro or con?

I need a couple inches of help avoiding dragging butt backing my 32’ Cardinal up my driveway incline. Presently using some 2x12 boards to accomplish straddling the gutter. Would like to avoid using the boards by using a couple 4-6” caster wheels. Is there a problem with undo stress to the frame? Anyone have success or problems? Thanks

So, with boards you are getting about an additional 2" of clearance over the gutter (at the wheels) and it doesn't scrape at the tail-end? The problem I see with what you are asking is that your current method must allow the tail-end to just clear without scraping. If you install 4" or 6" wheels somewhere near the back, you are adding the requirement for considerably more clearance to be needed? 4-6" additional at the rear to me, would cause considerable stress on the frame. More importantly, I'd be worried about what that would do to everything else, like vertical walls, pulling apart wall seams/corners, etc.

If it were me, I'd reinvent what you put in the gutter as something you can leave there, etc that is easier to use.
