Air Conditioner runs when in Furnace Mode

Went camping this past weekend with our 2018 3250 5er. It wasn't the greatest of weekends misty rain all weekend until it was time to head home then the sun came out, go figure. It was cold enough to run the fireplace all day but at night I would shut it down and turn on the Furnace but the main air conditioner runs when in furnace mode is this normal ? I got my owners manual out and no where does it tell you how to operate the system.

When running your furnace make sure your fan is set to auto on the thermostat. If not, the fan on the AC will come on to help circulate the air in your rig.

No, the main air conditioner probably does not run -- only the blower (not the compressor). We deal with this situation weekly.

Cycle your thermostat MODE from Cool to Heat to FAN. Then use + or - keys to cycle fan speed from HI to LO to AU (for auto) and your A/C blower will not run when the furnace does.
