Cardinal generator prep?

Good day
I have a new 2022 cardinal luxury 390 FBX that has a “ gen Prep”. This includes a transfer switch and a generator box in the front storage bay. I have ordered an Onan QG 5500 lp for this unit.
My question is:
The dealership tells me that if the gen box is installed then there is no extra support needed, but it sure seems like the floor is light weight especially after I cut out the needed cooling air and exhaust holes.
Any info on this would be appreciated
Thanks

Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. If you don't believe the dealer I would contact FR or just add bracing myself if I felt the generator box would not support a generator. JMHO

I put a generator in mine years ago and ran a piece of 2-2 channel and bolted to the frame 11 yrs ago . That floor was to flimsy in my opinion .
