Cardinal Luxury 320RLX

Hello,
I am a 3rd time Forrest River purchaser. We recently purchased the new 320RLX (36 ft) 5th Wheel. I understand 2022 is the first year to come out with this 5th wheel. Was wonder if anyone out there is have issues with regulating the tankless water heater and if there was enough room to sit comfortably at the table in the chair by the recliners?
Thank you,
Debi

3250

I have a 2018 3250RL. I think the tankless water heater for us is not worth it. Yes the dinette is crowded. But we love our Rig!

We have a 2022 model 345 with a tankless water heater . We will be looking to change it out to a 12 gal. Gas and electric. The water is either hot or if you try to turn it down it turns cold. We were told to have a chart for temp. Setting for each of the family members for showers . There is no such thing as warm water .

Cardinal RV

It’s nice collaborating with someone that has a Forest River product! Especially a Cardinal! We know someone that has one in their home. No advantage unless you need endless hot water. Expensive and they have there issues. We like our gas/ electric water heater. Unless you hate it, I would think it would be expensive to change. Good luck.

There are many folks, including us, who love their tankless WHs. There is a learning curve but it is not bad. Too many folks seem to decide immediately that they don't like them w/o even trying to get used to them.
We will always have a tankless combined with a Shower Miser. Perfect system for us.

There is a learning curve for the tankless water heater, but it's not difficult.
Turn on the cold water first, then turn on the hot til you get the temp you want.
Don't turn it off until you finish the shower.

And for our tankless, we don't usually use the cold water at all. Temp controlled by flow through the hot water valve. Open fully for less hot, turn down a bit to get hotter (stays in WH longer). But ours is an older version.
