The repair looks good.

I think the problem is likely not solved.

My guy welded a square structural member between the left and right inner hangers. 3 He said he has seen a rash of these issues recently. As if something has changed. All CC units.

not a real expensive modification. Six of those 12 hangers are really solid.

Check the tracking of the tires. After all of this I had a slightly bent axle wearing tires too quickly. Currently I am getting a new rear axle and springs.

I would bet you have a bent axle.

I have spent a small fortune updating our 2018 with high miles. $15,000 of late. I am too old to do these kinds of repairs. There is nothing cheap about owning a fancy rv.

Come spring it will be better than new.

D W:
The axle hitting the frame is the result of the frame cracking and the center hanger bending over, That is the problem of the caliper breaking and me noticing no brakes getting off the freeway.

I was thinking about putting a brace across the main hangers there are trusses around that area already, I'm going for a trip to visit our son and grandkids, and will be keeping a close eye on the tire wear on this trip.

The first two pics. Those marks, is that funky paint or cracks?

Those little pieces of plate, one with many dingleberries, is doing nothing structural to help the hangers.

I would send pictures of mine, however it is at Amish RV repair right now. New axle.

Have fun on your trip. We are waiting for our rv axle. Plan to go thru Houston on the way to Florida.
