Full body paint,and more

Me and my wife own a 2008 34 qs fifth wheel. We recently looked at a new 2013 cardinal 3450,really a good looking camper. I love the burganday full body paint, the solid surface counter tops, and new windows. Wonder if I could send our 08 back to forest river to get the paint job and some upgrades done.. And do any of you know of any problems with the full body paint. Thanks

I would contact a local shop that paints big rigs and get a quote. I think the cost of the job plus getting your 5er to Forest River and back would cost a lot more than going with a nearby reputable shop.

We have had two coaches with full body paint and no issues. Just wash & wax liken anything else.

We have a 2011 3450 RL with full body paint. It draws more heat than a non painted FW when in full sun. Not an issue as we mainly dry camp and plan ahead as to where the sun is on the camper. Also use the bubble foil insulation on the windows that have direct sun.make sure you get the second A.C. as it makes a big difference keeping the whole camper nice and cool when It is hot. We have an Onan 5500 LP gen to keep it cool when needed while dry camping.
