Inverter not working

We have a new 2021 Cardinal 5 th wheel parked in a rural area. The area has lost power due to a storm and we were under the impression the inverter would kick on. It did not and I can’t get it to turn on manually either. What is wrong and what can I do.

What do you expect it to run, residential fridge? Can you take a pic of te front panel? Do you have a remote start node?

chances are the inverter is only hooked to select circuits NOT the entire trailer...

depending upon the model of the inverter there may be a GFCI protected receptacle on it that the output load is plugged into. check to see if the GFCI has tripped.

what does the display panel on the inverter show? is it on? is it generating output power. are there any error codes?

I expected the light to work. The inverter is not showing anything. It’s a brand new RV. We were told it would
Kick on if the power went off and it didn’t. No lights. Nothing shows on control

I don’t know what inverter you have but mine requires the push button on the front panel to be in a certain position. I don’t have a remote button so I’m not sure what position it needs to be. I suggest you go to the inverter and press the button one time and then try the remote button.

Chances are your battery disconnect switch is off. Make sure it's in the ON or USE position. If the battery is charged and the switch is on, all your 12 volt devices, including the control panel, should work.
